| well...i've been home for over a month already. that seems crazy. summer has been kinda uneventful so far but i'm enjoying it. i've been working as a hostess at bella piatto. it's not too bad. i just wish i got more hours. i'm looking to get a second job but we'll see about that. the biggest news is that my dad had his third surgery and he is now cancer free!!!! i'm am so excited/relieved. it was a long 7 months and hopefully i'll never have to go through that again. thank you to everyone who was there for me. i don't think i could have gotten through it without you. another happy thing on my mind at the moment is the fact that i'm going to boson next thursday it's been over 3 months since i've seen mark so it will be great to spend a week together. it is so hard to be apart but it makes the time we spend together that much more special. i love youso much mark! it's been fun to see friends so far this summer. last friday a bunch of us went downtown to walk around and watch fireworks. today i laid out with my gimpy luv malley. let's just say that my new nickname could be liz the lobster o well hopefully it will turn into a tan soon. i miss my babe marie sooooo much. i wish i were in hawaii with her. i've also been missing all my pitt girls. i missing all the fun times we had together. it's still rough not being able to go down the hall to tell a good story or get a good hug. i got to see my babies over the weekend. i love them all sooo much. sarah's belly is getting even bigger. i don't know how much longer baby emma(current name idea) is going to want to stay in there haha. well i guess that's my short and sweet update for now. hope everyone is having a good summer.

| well...freshman year is over. i packed up my (many many) bags and boxes today and came "home" for the summer. i can't believe how fast the year went. i miss all my pitt buddies already, especially my 15th floor gang. what a year we had. it was hard to say goodbye but it made me glad that i had met such fabulous new friends. last night was fun. we watched a slideshow of pictures from the whole year and then we had a sing along. what good fun it's going to be weird to not be able to go next door every morning and lay on kristen or mary's bed or have mary (our personal alarm clock) come in and turn on dawson's creek. no more roomie alyssa talking in her sleep. no more people sightings. no more sex talks. there are a lot of things that i'm really going to miss. finals were icky. developmental psych went amazing. i didn't study much for it (b/c i was consumed with chem and bio) but i ended up getting a 38/40. that's a good thing considering psych is my major and i want to go into developmental psych so i can help lots of cute babies and kids. bio did not go nearly as well. and chem....not good either. aghhh. what happened to me being decently smart. o well, at least i made it through the year. all in all, Baby Gurl had a good freshman year at pitt.
onto this summer....o yeah, i finally got my driver's license!!! i never thought that would happen. we'll see if i start to like driving more. i'm trying to figrure out where to work this summer. i'll probably work at a restaurant and do some babysitting. this weekend will be full of lots of niece and nephew birthday festivities. saturday is lilly's 2nd bday party. saturday night we are all going to the pirate game, where addie and the rest of the elementary school at carlow will sing. and sunday is jakob's 7th bday party. all my little children are growing up. i'm excited for my new niece to be born in august. any name suggestions would be appreciated. hopefully mark will be able to come see me soon after he gets out of school. i miss him sooooooo much! i love him quite a lot (not like it's obvious or anything) well i've done enough rambling for tonight. sweet dreams everyone....good luck with the rest of school and happy summer!

| wow it has been quite awhile since i updated last. sorry to keep you all hanging. guess i've just been busy. it's crazy to think that in less than 3 weeks from now i will be home and done with freshman year. where did the time go? i'm sure going to miss all my 15th floor girls and the rest of my new pitt buddies. this year has definitely had it's ups and downs but that's life. i've had so many great experiences and memories that i will always treasure. i think i lived on the best floor ever. what other floor would shellac a bannana, start a "gang", have dance parties, talk about things like dirty dinosaurs/prehistoric pimp and mormoning when they go out for a birthday dinner, be supportive of each other, give great hugs, make each other laugh, survive a blackout, endure too many fire drills to count, make predictions about what it means when the lights are off on another floor, etc etc......aka 15th floor tower b rocked. i'm looking forward to next year though. kristen and i will be living in 604 Pennsylvannia Hall so give me a call and be sure to come visit if you go to pitt or are ever there for some reason or another.
as hard as it has been to not see mark very often during out freshman year, we both certainly made the most of it. his trip to pitt and my trip to bentley were fantastic. we've both grown a lot and so has our relationship. i never realized how much i'd appreciate having someone in college who loved me and was always there for me. through good days and bad he was my one and only. but that doesn't make it any easier not seeing him. it makes me even miss him more. i want us to be able to share our great college experiences with each other. don't get me wrong, as hard as it is to be away from him i wouldn't trade it for anything. it does lead me to think about us and what's the next thing i should do. but we have time to figure that out. for now i'm just going to enjoy every moment of it.
in other news, my sister-in-law sarah found out that she is having another girl. my new baby will be born in august, just in time for my 19th bday. addie and lilly are getting so big. my dad had lots of treatment and two surgeries. the last one has left him in a lot of pain. please continue to pray for him. i really appreciate it. i think i'm going to work a good bit this summer. probably make a trip out to cali. hopefully see mark once or twice. spend time with the family and friends. it should be good. i'm home this weekend and marie is spending the night. but she's asleep right now on the couch. i sure do miss her even though she goes to school in the same state as me now. marie is my babe and i luv her to death. well this has been quite the long update. i'm kinda sleeeeepy.

| it's spring break and i'm in boston right now visiting my love at Bentley. i really like bentley. it's pretty cool but quite a bit different from pitt. i miss my pitt girls but i definitely don't miss school. i was ready for a break. less than 2 months till freshman year is over....crazyness. i reallllllly don't want to go home tomorrow. saying goodbye is harder than you'd ever imagine. spending time with mark is amazing. grrr distance sucks. i need to figure out what i'm doing with my life. hope all of you on break are having fun and for all of you still at school, hang in there. i don't really know what else is new. mark should be back from class soon. my fav emily is coming to visit tonight which will be super cool. then tonight from 11-12 i'll actually get to go with mark to do his radio show Not So Half Naked. what a dream come true for this dedicated listener i bet jasmine is excited....haha. i'll update more later...

| wow what an amzingly fabulous day/night i had. megan and i had a sleepover last night and stayed up telling girly secrets till 4am. marketplace was fun as usual. mary and i wore our pjs hehe. mary, megan, kristen, and i did hw while watching the Pitt vs Nova bball game. unfortunately pitt lost. after the game it was time to go ice skating! mary, kristen, and i looked like professional ice skaters. i didn't fall! mark would be so proud of me. after ice skating we all jumped in the shower and got ready for Buca. kristen put curlers in my hair and we all got dressed up. we went to Buca di Beppo for Kristen's bday dinner. here are some of the highlights of the night: Baby Girl (that's me) looked like a Victoria Secret angel, mormoning..., Dirty Dinosaur-Prehistoric Pimp, "i didn't mind if he saw my cleavage...", ruler in the bathroom, shave blindfolded sign, orgasmic cake, Caleb's bachelor party plans, "i was in kaufmans the other day and i had multiple orgasms in the shoe department", hail storm, sex hair, "you must have been confused", Happy Birthday Kristen! .....all of this = An Unforgettable Night
nothing else too exciting around here. 12 days till i am a very happy girl.... i can't wait! i miss mark so very much and am looking forward to seeing bentley. time to watch Nip Tuck with mis vecinas calientes....what a sunday night.
